Day 2

A Photo a Day-for 30 days straight!!

Day 1-our goal is to have an image up by noon (central time) everyday. No themes, all new images....just shooting for you! (well and for us too!)

A little hiatus but we'll be back!

Hello dear readers... have you missed us? We've missed you too.
Heather is travelling this week for another west coast wedding (yay! I'll be seeing her again for the weekend!) and I'm just plain busy with wedding season stuff... plus bookings for 2011 are rolling in.

But we've got a plan! Beginning next week, we'll be posting every morning for 30 days straight. No themes, just photos shot that day. I wonder how many will match up and seem like there really is a theme after all?

In the meantime... blog posts are boring without photos so I leave you with this.
Heather and I, along with Katy (also in BC) have teamed up to walk 60km's for cancer in July 2011. This event takes place in major cities across Canada and we've decided to walk in Calgary... sort of a halfway meeting point, and it also happens to be Heather's home province.
Having walked once in Toronto and twice in Vancouver, I'm so, so excited to have these 2 amazing women join me in 2011. The event is a 2 day walk... yes, 60km's. It is not a race, it's an experience. Knowing that every person walking with you has done something big, something awesome, like raising at least $2000. It is a victory walk... and we walk for those who are fighting, or for those we remember. It is both joyful and tearful. It is not easy. Before I walked the first time I remember asking my friend, "What if it rains?" and she said "What's worse? Walking in the rain or having cancer?" We each must raise $2000 minimum to participate. So if you can, please help us get there. This is our team page, you can click through to our respective individual pages from there. It's super easy to donate and you'll receive a tax receipt for anything over $10.

Walking in Vancouver's Stanley Park (I'm still smiling, no blisters yet!) - and Baxter waiting for me at the finish line.

How bout a Nooner?
